As we cross the threshold into Bealtaine\, we move from the quiet inward gaze of winter towards the warmth\, light\, and outward expansion of summer. Together\, we will draw on the living Celtic wisdom tradition to restore\, release what no longer serves you\, and gently guide you back into relationship with yourself\, your body\, and the wider natural world. \nThis mini-retreat offers a precious time apart: a space to return to your inner calm\, reconnect with the earth\, and open into the creative\, life-affirming energy of the upcoming summer season. Bealtaine invites us to step into possibility — to feel the stirrings of purpose\, joy\, and connection as the world around us comes into bloom. \nThroughout our time together\, we will explore ritual\, guided meditation\, and Anam Cara (soul friendship or deep listening)\, along with journaling\, expressive arts\, and simple movement. The focus is on honouring self-care\, inviting restoration\, supporting deep inner healing\, and celebrating community. This is an opportunity to tend both the gentle embers within and the vibrant outward growth that Bealtaine inspires\, whatever the external or internal challenges you may be living with \nCost\nThis event is offered without a set fee. This celebration is a May Day festival\, a time of joy\, sensuality and connection\, moving us closer to the vitality of summer. The name Beltaine comes from Old Irish Beltene with Bel meaning “bright\,” or possibly referring to the Celtic sun god Belenus\, and tene meaning “fire.” Together\, the name translates as “bright fire”. The arrival of Bealtaine feels like stepping into renewal. Creation is in full bloom and we can celebrate union between body and spirit\, earth and sky seen and unseen. It’s a time that invites us to open\, to trust in joy and to let life move through us. Beltane is a very feminine festival and a celebration of life. As the bringers of life women and mothers were particularly honoured\, carve out a moment for the self-care you need. Take some time\, tune in and listen. Get curious about what will nourish you and if it’s not immediately possible to do that make a plan for when you will and be sure to honour it. You are important. \nAbout the facilitator – Aileen McGee\n\nAileen McGee is an accomplished author\, creative facilitator\, and psychospiritual practitioner with a passion for empowering others to live and love their best life story. Holding a MA in Psychosynthesis Psychology and a BA (Hons) in Psychology\, Aileen brings a wealth of experience in therapeutic work across private and public sectors\, nationally and internationally. \nHer approach blends ancient Celtic wisdom\, storytelling\, and creative expression with insights from psychology\, neuroscience\, and somatic practices\, creating transformative spaces for reflection and renewal. Aileen is the author of A World of Our Own and A Life of Her Own\, and a contributor to holistic and mental health publications. She has received national and international awards for her writing and radio journalism. \nCurrently completing a Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling\, Aileen continues to inspire through her workshops\, writings\, and commitment to wellbeing and authentic living.

Dru Yoga postures are the same Hatha Yoga postures\, but done in flowing manner for energy block release and energy flow.
