We are delighted to welcome back Dr Aileen O’Kane to the Tara Centre. Dr Aileen practised conventional medicine from the early 70s to mid-90s. Through a personal illness in the early 90s she became very aware of the body/spirit/mind connection and subsequently studied many aspects of holistic health. For more than 20 years she has approached illness in a holistic way and uses the modalities of Ayurveda, Nutrition, Craniosacral Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique in her Professional Work.
Dr Aileen will be looking at key factors which must be part of our lifestyle to remain healthy – mentally, physically and emotionally. Disease isn’t necessarily a part of the ageing process.
By making relatively simple changes, it’s possible to alter metabolic processes and avoid or reverse inflammation, which is the root cause of all disease.
Dr Aileen will explore the vital factors involved in helping a person stay healthy or aid in recovery from disease.
Tea/Coffee & Scones on arrival from 9:00am / Lunch will be provided.
