Discovering your Higher Purpose

This is a new programme which delvelped out of the workshop Jim Cogley held in March of this year at the Tara Centre. You could equally call this workshop ‘Awakening your Creativity‘, ‘Walking the Path of Destiny‘, or ‘The Way of Surrender‘ – each title is as powerful as the other and might speak more to some than others. 

Why are we here? What is our purpose? These are some of the perennial questions that will be addressed during this retreat facilitated by  Jim accompanied by Luba Rodzhuk who specializes in spiritual accompaniment.  

This will be a journey into a deeper level of spirituality and inner transformation and most suitable for those who have been on this path for some time and who wish to explore the more mystical side of the Christian tradition.

About Jim

Jim Cogley is a psychotherapist and woodartist with nearly forty years experience. He was one of the early leaders in the Charismatic Renewal Movement in Ireland and is currently Director of Pilgrimage at Our Lady’s Island Wexford. His particular interest is that of Healing, both personal and intergenerational, and how the past that is unacknowledged can influence our present and create our future. As an artist with wood he presents the age old truths in the form of symbols.

Regarded as an inspirational speaker he in constantly in demand for seminars, retreats and conferences. He is the author of numerous books in the Wood You Believe series which will be available at the seminar.

  • LIFE’S PURPOSE
    Saturday, 14th November 2026: 10am – 4.15pm (registration from 9.15am)

Cost

£60 (refreshments and Saturday lunch included).
A £20 booking fee secures your place. VSS subsidises the remaining cost for participants who meet the criteria.

  • Saturday: lunch provided at 1pm
